Crucicentrism & The Frail Creation: July 2012

Why the struggle for material gain? Is it an inherent part of the Adam nature for us to desire objects that exist only in physical space? I wrestle with this need to collect, gather, and store useless items that in the end will do me no good whatsoever. Nothing nutritious to the soul can be found in material possession, but yet I find some kind of pseudo happiness in the chase, the objective always being something I can hold in my hands and examine. I must break free of this thought process.
